Tim Marquitz
Biography
Tim Marquitz
Raised on a diet of Heavy Metal and bad intentions, Tim Marquitz has always been interested in writing, but it wasn't until about 1995 the urge became a compulsion. However, it would be many years later before the ability matched the interest. Fortunately, the two have reconciled...mostly.
Now, with six novels under his belt, he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his inspirations: Clive Barker, Jim Butcher, and Stephen King.
Writing a mix of the dark perverse, the horrific, and the tragic, tinged with sarcasm and biting humor, he looks to leave a gaping wound in the memories of his readers.
A former grave digger, bouncer, and dedicated metalhead, Tim is a huge fan of Mixed Martial Arts, and fighting in general. Involved in the Live Action Role Playing organization, Amtgard, since he was fifteen, he derives great pleasure from bashing people into submission.
He lives in Texas, with his beautiful wife and daughter, a neurotic dog and finger-crippling cat, and a wayward EMT.

Lisa J. Jackson
Biography
Lisa Jackson
loves the life she's created for herself as an independent editor and
writer.
She had always been an avid reader and now loves being introduced to new
authors and different types of writing through editing. Editing is exciting
because she gets to read new works by successful authors as well as
unknowns, and help put the polish on the final product.
She writes fiction, but also dabbles in poetry, New Hampshire-focused
destination articles and nature essays. Her fiction reading and writing
interests run from short flash pieces to short stories to novels to scripts
and include mysteries, thrillers, sci-fi, children's, horror, Christian,
romance, suspense, historicals, non-fiction, young adult, and anything else
that attracts her muse.
Lisa's adventures started at age seven when her family moved into the home
where her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother grew up. It was behind
a wild animal farm that had, yes, lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Along
with elephants, emus, llamas, and a fully occupied snake house, among other
critters. She spent time visiting with the animals and as she got older, she
explored the one hundred-twenty acres surrounding her home. Many mystery
stories and ghost tales formed during those years, and some are still
waiting to hit the page.
A lifelong resident of NH, Lisa enjoys traveling and having adventure
vacations. Her most recent trips include a week of white water rafting down
the Colorado River, twelve days tenting on a Caribbean, and a week at a dude
ranch in Wyoming. She walked away from a cubicle career in '06 to pursue her
editing and writing passion full time and hasn't looked back since. She
loves learning, b&w film photography, as well as cycling, hiking, and
hanging out with her 'Little Sis' from Big Brothers Big Sisters.
